David started his career at Bacon & Woodrow in 1989, where he spent a total of five years. Initially working in personal equity plan administration, he subsequently specialised in employee share ownership and helped build and retain a portfolio of corporate clients.

In July 1994, IRG purchased the share plan administration service from Bacon & Woodrow, and David continued to work successfully within the business development team. Following Capita's purchase of the IRG business in 2000, David has worked both to help successfully grow the business and provide an excellent operational delivery to all clients. His role as Head of Business Development reflects this role diversity and his input to strategic decision making within the Capita Share Plan Services business.
